I can do it myself!
I’m mildly concerned that Dangerfield is smarter than our Finest Legal Minds.
Didn’t someone say Dangerfield had the same legal representation who advised us that we would not win an appeal in any of our 3 cases?
Sounds like Ralph wants Danger’s putty in his face
god i wish we’d given 2mp the chance to get up and say i’m a nice guy, i’m a ball player, i was going for the mark, i didn’t farken see him coming
Hanging is too good for him.
Good grief
I remember writing in the non-Ess thread that I didn’t think a player should be rubbed out for a perfect tackle.
However, having read thru a pile of posts in here, I am now outraged at the decision
See I actually don’t have any issue with the act at all.
It’s the double standards, and blantant favouritism for certain clubs/players that winds me up.
Yep, it’s very confusing.
Might as well just spin a wheel.
Which one is Cam Guthrie?
Judd on Zeibel.
Relax, l am joking. This line is from a movie, perhaps more tan one. For the record l admire Danger the player, l have nothing against him on any other level either. l am not surprised by the verdict. I am appalled however by the very blatant and obvious double standards the AFaiL apply to;
- Brownlow medalists and other high profile players, whom the public might consider to be ornaments of the game.
- Players in line to play in Grand Finals, etc.
Q: What about any other player?
A: The AFaiL declare it is open game.
Double standards anyone?
More like multiple standards on a sliding scale, that is made up, as they go along.
Spot on.
I’d rather not see that cop a week.
The problem is anything even close to marginal, and many not, including Jones, have copped it this year.
It’s ridiculous.
Karma will come Dangerfield does an ACL 5 mins into the first quarter next week…poor Patprickl
Why do you want Merrett to get two weeks (direct to Tribunal) for careless + body + severe?
No, the AFL make it so that WE can’t win a challenge.
What a sad thread.
Bravo Danger. For proving without doubt that the AFL is run in a similar fashion to the WWE. Rules for the “good guys” and rules for the “bad guys”.
Next time we go up for one of these tackles just show the Dangerfield tackle and look at them. Say nothing.
it’s an absolute shambles , always has been . they talk of precedent. what a joke .
so the ability to potentially cause injury applies to some but not all players?
so Essendon supplements program was turned into a player welfare issue when they could find proof, but sending a player out to play with broken ribs , ruptured spleen and punctured lung isn’t ?
Peter wright went for a mark and because he didn’t have matrix ability to stop mid air doing what he’s paid to do he gets 4 weeks ?
it’s not a legal system by any definition. the clubs dont care because they also benefit from the same ridiculous system at times when it suits them.
it’s the fans that always get the rough end of the stick. media are reasonable for the narratives so they benefit as much or more from these contrived contraversies .
the whole statem is a joke. I really like the WWE comparison.
I think it’s time we allowed player managers to sneak out onto the ground hit players with a steel ladder while the umpires are conveniently looking the other way
