Tribunal/MRO from 2023 - Choose Your Own Adventure continues

Chatting to guys who have played local and higher level footy.
Majority thought Dangerfield didn’t deserve a week.

I mean I realy wouldn’t care if Jones didnt cop a week.

Guess should be more annoyed with Brad or efc legal team.

But also understand it was a great opportunity for Caddy to debut. We won anyway against tigers, and Caddy debuted against his uncles old club in front of a big crowd. And jones got a rest.

So I should just get over it. And be glad that Redman wasn’t even cited.

Redman missed the Sydney game, does it change the result, probably not.
likely in Redman out Menzie/Davey/Hind

Redman, Wright, Jones, Weid all copped it harsh. Fine if that’s the standard, but it clearly isn’t. It’s an inconsistent mess that magically seems to favour certain players and teams.

You can imagine if Lemmey slided in and took Daicos legs from him then Daicos would have got a free kick and Lemmey likely given a warning.

I think they would have treated Lemmey as they did Lindsay Thomas, the devils spawn.
You can’t touch a golden child in that manner when you’re merely a peasant. Our lesser players are put there for the purpose of hunting and beating upon

What a crock. I hope he gets some karma coming back his way this week.

So going forward, any player that applies a tackle from behind and where both arms are pinned only needs to inform the Appeals tribunal they were conscious of the ‘landing mechanism’ to be exonerated.
It’s a pantomime.

Whately says the AFL lost so GGF

552 new posts. Danger got off, didn’t he?

He got himself off

Our great legal minds must be huddled around somewhere in disbelief.

AFL - “There is no way you are getting off this charge Patrick, it was a blatant dangerous tackle”

Danger - “In my defence, we play Essendon this week”

AFL - “Well that changes everything”

Nor should 2MP or Weed.

All Players should have a right to protect themselves when opposition players do stupid stuff. I class running with the flight of the ball & deliberately sliding under a player as stupid acts.

In fact both Weed & 2MP should have been awarded free kicks, that is how farked up the AFL is now. They are farking the game up.

Christian needs to be sacked as well, bias fark knuckle

I don’t get why anyone would be surprised.
They are a big business and run like a big business. All decisions are “bottom line based”.

In all the garbled bullshit, they threw it out because it’s Dangerfield.

Frustrating listening to Brad Scott defend Dangerfield better than he defended wright or Jones.

Scott should apologise to 2mp

We forced 2MP into a public humiliation ritual (ala Game of Thones “shame” scene), while Danger walked up to the stand, dropped his pants, let the tribunal give it a HUAK TUAH, dropped the mic and walked off.

Embarrassing.

Danger had great bloke references in his back pocket from Luke Hodge, former PMs, the Pope and Mother Teresa as Plan B, but didn’t even need to use them.
