2MP for 3 weeks when competing for the footy, because he turned his head prior to collision. A footy act. Competing. Lynch whacked a bloke and the footy was not in contest. Should’ve got 10 weeks. Seventies thuggery writ large.

Nah , because Dimma realised the wheels had fallen off the Tiges and they needed a 6 year rebuild.
Lynch is cooked and he knows it deep down. Its a bit like GAJ in his last season at Geelong. Frustrated that he could no longer do what he did at his best, he lashed out and took out players heads 3 weeks in a row before he was rubbed out. I think then he realised it was over, and came to terms with it, probably having needed wise counsel for it to sink in.
Not being GAJ, who was at least smart enough to make his hits “football acts”, Lynch copped his whack from the tribunal immediately.
His contract should not be renewed. If he is getting scragged, its because he can no longer get clear of his opponents, out wrestle them, or jump higher than them. I tend to agree with Volcano
Gerard Healy at it again tonight on the radio about Sam Durham’s PARAPLEGIC BUMP only getting 2 weeks vs Tom Lynch’s powderpuff slap getting 5. The Durham bump was the far more dangerous act potentially causing untold damage etc
