The AFL are claiming they are backing their man (pardon the pun) given he’s a man of high integrity.
Now I’m sure they also said the same about Pannell and the other bloke who leaked the Brownlow votes. That hasn’t love me to be accurate one little bit. Also given the way its own integrity unit negotiates deals on any sensitive matters I’m now 100% certain the AFL doesn’t know the meaning of integrity.

Rumour is that the ump turned it off at that moment due to the language going on around him.
No idea if they can or can’t do that though.
But seems convenient that it came back on right after the incident.
Foot had been coping it on socials due to his agreement with a betting agency.
If Butters didn’t say it then maybe he “heard” it because it was on his own mind and Butters became his fall guy.
