Same. Didn’t really care much though as it was against the Tarps.

To be determined how much pay is involved.

So far he has claimed he didn’t say anything wrong. Now the microphone didn’t work at that very moment it happened.
Will be interesting if he changes tune when he faces the tribunal and admits he said it or if he sticks to his guns and uses witnesses (other players).

My god these umpires are precocious lot lol Razor Ray would have just laughed

AFL are kidding themselves here. Surely they have the recording. Umpires are miked. Even if he said how much are they paying you it’s hardly offensive. It’s a genuine question

If true, Butters questioned the umpires integrity and asserted that he’s a cheat / fraud. I reckon the ump’s within his rights to be salty about that.

Wonder if Butters was referring to the AFL or Sportsbet when asking how much he was being paid?

Reckon anyone that works for sports bet and umpires games should be questioned on their integrity.

I assume they’re all fraudulent criminals like Troy Pannell

AFL allows an umpire to work for a betting agency and then acts outraged that someone questions their integrity. Lol.

Butters should counter that by showing all the mistakes that Foot made including the howler that led to the report. Then argue that they are overpaying him to make such poor decisions when it’s his job to get them right.

Yeah I just looked at the clip. What was he paying for that free?

Same audio/visual company that handled the Epstein tapes.

Very handy for the AFL to lose that audio.

I don’t even recon he said it.
The fact Foot wouldn’t even talk to him after the game suggests to me that he go in his feelings.

I’ve said for a long time that the AFL employ the wrong type of people as umpires and the game is far worse because of it.

From the audio that’s available there is hardly time for anything to be said unless it was said as Foot was talking. A real Foot in month situation I reckon.
