I’ve read all the books and the series is spot on. I’ve really enjoyed series one.

Yeh I watched this week. It was pretty good. Not the best idea to watch alone lol

It’s a sequel…it takes place 100 years (or so) on from the original series

Travis Fimmel & Katheryn Winnick along with a couple of others really gave Vikings a strong start. It will be interesting to see if they’ve found similar strong magnetic characters for this one.

Yeah I dropped off after the first couple of seasons, I just lost interest after we lost a few major characters, but I’d give the new season a go if it’s a fresh start.

I’m currently watching Euphoria, Reacher, Pam & Tommy, and I still have The Witcher S2 to watch.

Anyone started Suspicion (with Uma Thurman) yet?

We watched it right through but none of the characters were as strong as the ones who’d been lost. Lagertha was there til season 6 fortunately.

Looks very average to me not sure it’s found to capture the feel of LOTR

If anybody is interested in legal thrillers about bringing down huge gambling interests, SBS has one on in Ana:All-In (Ana Tramel: El Juego) about a criminal lawyer whose addiction to pain-killers has brought her down to easier cases.

Stars Maribel Verdu (Y Tu Mamá Tambien and Pan’s Labyrinth) as Ana Tramel, whose brother is a world-class poker player who murders the casino boss and then hangs himself. Ana sues the casino interests for having pressured him repeatedly to come back to play and for forcing him into suicide.

She’s badly beaten, and months later, brings the action to court.

There are some cross stories about divorce and custody battles.

TLK is just about my all time favourite show. Am watching it again for about the 4th time.

Can’t wait for the new season. Been so long

I think that’s because The Last Kingdom has maintained the main character whereas the Vikings killed off the main character.

While we’re sort of on that genre, I highly recommend Norsemen.

I tried watching it but for whatever reason I struggled to get into it, might give it another go based on this
