those who liked the movie “Up”, there’s a limited short series called “Dug Days”. 5 episodes, around 10 minutes each, which pick up where the movie left off, with Carl and Dug sharing a house.

I know it would be considered a kids show… but I’m a big kid at heart!

l believe l saw one or perhaps two of these episodes on a Pixar DVD in China. I thought about developing the material into an ESL lesson, but had to move and pack them all up, shortly after.
In Zhuhai l also picked up the complete works of Disney’s Pluto, some 60 cartoons in all. Pluto would have made a good ESL subject as well, as there was next to no dialogue throughout unless Mickey was involved. Two or three DVD’s for the princely sum of about $3 A.

I’ve found a nice show that I’ve been watching since last weekend. It’s called A Million Little Things. It’s on Stan.

Barry takes a dive in Season 3 - so disappointing.

Was one of the greatest but it’s like they got to a point in the story and struggled to make logic of it.

Let me know your reaction to the episode with the girl.

Geez that’s a bit harsh. It’s been pretty bleak subject matter, but absolutely enthralling and hilarious at times as well.

Also stranger things S4 (so far) is extremely good. However it does further my theory that no yank TV show should be allowed to get so far up its own ■■■■ that they do multiple episodes that are well over an hour in a single season. Leave that to the Korean dramas that can actually pull it off.

Just saw the final episode - holy ■■■■!
You’re right I was a bit harsh.

Goodness me, what a finish. I have absolutely no idea how next season they can get out of the corner they’ve written the show into.

My question is what kind of animal did Hank listen to. (and what a brilliant contrast from that sound only massacre to Sally bashing that bloke to death in complete silence.

Barry season finale…

They are renewed and currently writing season 4. I’ve no idea where it heads from there. There was a hint by Bill Hader that they’ll explore what happens when Hank and Sally catch Barry’s disease.

This season didn’t go balls to the wall like previous seasons of the show, but it did some amazing character and filmmaking stuff. It is exquisitely shot, giving time for scenes that modern media just doesn’t dwell on. The last minute of the season felt appropriately empty, which was the perfect creative decision.
