Hmmm, ... might give it a blind turn ....

Point 4  of the Federalist  I'll give you...point 5 is ludicrous hogwash and a complete and utter misrepresentation. It was done for comparative purposes and was done effectively.

This article has been written by an ■■■■■■■■. I'd never even heard of Bruno, and I studied the history of astronomy back at uni. Admittedly Kepler and Copernicus hadn't been born then.

Did I really just read a bit where they basically said the Inquisition was OK for most people who "went on their way" ?

Absolute arseholes I'd say.

New season of American Horror Story is pretty good. I’m only up to episode 5 but loving it. The throwback to the Evil Dead was quality.

And Jessica Lange should win every award ever. She’s that ■■■■■■■ good.

You got me excited for a second but you're talking about season 3. What a hipster.

But yeah Jessica Lange is awesome. Goes pretty well for an old lass too. Angela Bassett kills it too. Hope she sticks around next season.

Cosmos was good. Cinematic score got really fkg annoying and the first 10 minutes was painful (YES I GET IT. YOU'RE ON A CGI SHIP).

But it got good, I'll keep watching.

Had a look at the first ep of From Dusk Till Dawn last night. Made by Netflix, the first ep was pretty much how the Gecko brothers got into bother. Don Johnson had a big part.

Denis Leary has moved on from fireys in Boston to ambos in Chicago in Sirens. He's got a big part of it, but not on screen.

Three ambos, one white just split from his attractive cop girlfriend, a gay black one and a greenhorn white one. Michael Mosley who was in Pan Am and plenty of return gigs in other series, is the white guy.

No canned laughter, lots of laughs.

Which is the exact opposite of Saint George, about a Mexican guy George Lopez (Danny Trejo from Machete and David Zayas who played Batista in Dexter are his uncle and cousin). Just started the second ep. Won't be getting to 3. Even all the other Mexicans only speak English in the house. Strange! Definitely do not bother.

And the second series of Line of Duty about an internal affairs group in, I think Birmingham although it doesn't matter. First series has just started on the ABC I believe. Really good pommy police drama, this time with Keeley Hawes (Ashes to Ashes) as the suspect cop. 2 eps in. Highly recommended.

three episodes into Rectify and pretty damned good

three episodes into Rectify and pretty damned good

Yep, enjoyed it.  Only 6 in the 1st series .. was wanting more, looking fwd to S02.

The Walking Dead went a little bit crazy last night. In a good way. And in doing so was pretty much the only decent episode so far in this second half of the season.

I'm a little bit surprised at the twist being that there was no twist.

Yeah. It's really been plodding along lately and just focussing on each group with no updates has been a bit frustrating. Last night was rather confrontational though.

Loving Line of Duty Series 2...1 episode to go...who's framing whom?

I reckon this is better than True Detective....if I'm allowed to commit heresy.

Wonder what Fred Phelps would say about that.

It was. There was actual story progression which was nice. It's like the writers have been hiding behind "character development" so far this season. I don't mind that at all, but there has to be some story to go along with it. Otherwise you end up with your Daryl/Beth episodes or worse yet, the first episode back from the break.

My daughter just texted me saying the smoke that they could see last night was the house that Daryl/Beth set fire to the previous week. Makes sense.

Just started Vikings (ok, I’m a bit slow on some things).

Not bad so far, but a shame it’s not on HBO…there are a few chest adornments I’d like to see paraded around uncovered…
