Hope so because Episode one I thought was average
Walking Dead was quite good last night. Was getting quite long-winded with all the individual character establishments happening over the last few weeks. Next week's season finale looks like a ripper. Was quite disturbing how quiet Terminus was when the group arrived. A trap for weary travellers?

[spoiler]I was hoping that it would start the cannibal story line from the comics but then I remembered that the TV show has no balls and would never do that.
And judging from the previews I'm guess that Carol, Beth and Tyrese's story lines are over this season and will be picked up next season.[/spoiler]

Tried to watch Resurrection tonight, but 7 killed it. Gave up after 15 mins which contained 12 mins of ads. Farking idiots.
Resurrection requires you to leave all elements of common sense at the door. A bit like the dome before it, the world in which it inhabits is nothing like our reality and as such takes it's viewers for fools. Even more so when they constantly have adds for the "sunrise cash cow" in the corner of the screen. No wonder people these days prefer to download from the US.

True Detectives. Picked this one up on Sunday, and finished watching it this arvo. Disturbingly good. Msny cliches avoided. McConnaghy shows that he is not just the pretty face he was 5 or so years ago. The writers have succeeded in developing one highly original character in Rusty, a flawed genius of a detective, but towards the end it started to revert back to form. l hope they can find another interesting angle to approach it from next season, but l have my doubts.

l like the idea of keep each season of this series discrete. The episodes were allowed to build and develop but by the end, there was really nowhere else for it to go.
