GC were hoping for 14 off Hawks for JOM to get Hanley. They don’t have it nor do they have 10 off Hawks either yet and that deal may not get done.
As such they don’t want to hand over 8 just for Hanley as it’s overs, but would do so to get both players. Brisbane to exchange picks as required with Port needed for Ah Chee.

McKenzie’s contracted until the end of next year, and he’s had a fair number of injuries this year. Definitely been dropped for form/attitude/whatever as well though. Seems like the kind of guy we’d get for a token pick from a normal team if we were interested. From the Suns? Probably pick 1 and our 2017 first round pick.
