That was one of the best fights I have seen! What an absolute champion the Aussie, Volkanovoski! That 3rd round was absolutely nuts. I have no idea how Volk didn’t tap and then how Ortega came back and went the distance.
An absolute epic.
Volk is a great fighter but an awkward speaker, I think I like (definitely respect) him but boy does he say some cringe worthy things. He pretty much admitted as much in his post fight interviews.
Whos winning today? Gaethje vs Chandler, Wei Li vs Rose, Usman vs Colby. Hard to pick any of them!

Gaethje/Chandler fight was amazing. The whole card has been great so far.

Ian Garry made me laugh, was so confident of winning he played 18 rounds of golf this morning with the UFC commentary team. He said he would start studying his opponent when done.

Great heavyweight slugfest.
The main event commentary was annoyingly stupid. In the 1st fight Rob would blitz with the left jab and whenever he’d follow up with a right Palestine would counter and do damage. That’s literally how Rob got knocked out.
So now the commentators are baffled why Rob isn’t throwing the right to follow up his blitz left jabs. I’m a casual pleb and even I fcking knew why.
Palestine clearly won the opening round and then it was a pretty meh fight honestly. Just leg kicks and good takedown defense from Palestine. Rob just spammed left jab and couldn’t do ■■■■ with his takedowns. Not much damage done by either.
Disappointing main event, thought Rob was too cautious and wasn’t prepared to risk losing while trying something different to win it.
In saying that though, Issy is a pretty special fighter and is very tough to beat.
Even Robs coaches told him hes not throwing the right enough…
same criticism can be levelled at issy
Yeah his coach said that after the 4th and Rob needed a finish.
The commentators didn’t even acknowledge why Rob wasn’t throwing it until halfway through the 5th, which is poor commentary. Explain why he was gunshy etc.
Not enough Bam Bam talk.
