We went to all the same 3 gigs mate- and yep, the Cult were loud. Saw Cheap Trick twice on that tour- and still think Robin Zander is the best live vocalist I have heard, ( in terms of singing every song to “album” quality, and not cheating on the high notes). He was phenominal. Scary thing is I saw them over here 6 months ago, and he STILL hits the highs all concert long. And Icehouse were just a great band at the very top of their game.

I honestly think the seriously impressive thing about this thread is that almost all of us could have gone 80 songs that could be the ultimate Australian collection and could still add more. We were and are seriously spoiled when it comes to the quality of our local music.
