Weed will have to drop himself. Its farking beyond stupid for the match committee to keep picking him. We are a dumb dumb football club.
As ■■■■ as Weed was, Wright was worse.
You said you wouldn’t be disappointed if you saw effort.
Yeh ok - logic checks out
Another crack in the Scott coaching.
When you miss so many goals you are not playing well
I know it’s not practical, but why don’t teams get a player to jump on top of your ruckmans head in front of the goal line for these kicks?
Do a bloody cheerleading pyramid ffs.
■■■■ off then, idiot.
I dont give a fark about Port,Essendon lost this
That’s bait. Gif
Essendon losing is better than Port winning(they certainly did on the siren)
Feels a bit like that, but if we’re as good as those teams we should be winning enough from here to prove it and get in. This was a likely loss in the scheme of the season.
OK, thinking positively: We wrestled back control against the benchmark team in the competition, multiple times. And we ended up dominating long parts of the game. I know we could resort to blaming individuals for skill errors, but it was wet/slippery all night. The boys really cracked in, and brought the defensive effort for most of the game. Obviously, a really ■■■■ ending, but sometimes it’s just how the cookie crumbles.
Hundreds of photos here:
Not for long
Plenty of positives. Langford is a star. Ditto Caldwell Hobbs and Merrett.
Menzie I thought was good, strange sub.
Ridley was awesome. Snelling played his role.
Need a key forward to help 2MP and a goal kicking crumbing small.
I ■■■■■■■ hate port.
For another week at least
That is such a stupid phrase you have come up with. He is a coach, not god, he is going to make mistakes or not be perfect.
I’m angry tonight and we should be
We better come out and give it to the crows
FMD
Shiel not a good sub on a night like that, wasn’t playing wetweather footy.
Missed a lot of very very gettable shots, weid had plenty more fcompany.
Umps missed a few clear holding frees at the top of the square for us. Probably should have been further ahead at 3qte time.
Not a 4 quarter performance though. When they ramped up the physical pressure around the ball we struggled.
Reckon they kicked 4 bombs from 50 on angles over the night. Langford didn’t want to go back and have shot from 50 straight in front…
That’s a tough but very encouraging loss. Still lack for class though and you can see that in how much fumbling occured.
The group and some of the youngsters, Hobbs in particular, can take a lot of of that performance
Hope voss kicks a bag and forces the selectors hands
