I am not as down as others will be. I thought we showed a hell of a lot in that game. Despite Aceman’s doom about the list we have a lot to work with. The loss sucks naturally but we pushed Port to the brink in conditions that suit them more than us, a team who have a bit more overall talent and better talls and who had won 11 games in a row. There was a lot to like, a bunch to dislike and some concerns about a couple of players. But I am still quite pleased with what i saw out there, they never gave up.

The weed. I was happy for him to get a bit of a run the last few weeks but he needs a spell. I rarely have a crack at a player but at the moment he can’t mark, can’t kick. Go back to the seconds and get some form.

Aceman is going to knock someone out on monday

The impunity and confidence the port players had putting two hands in Wright’s back pushing him under every high ball into our f50 is what hurts the most

Weren’t even tryimg to disguise it

We won this game in my mind. Umpires gave them momentum in the 1st and 4th port did not play well enough to win this, this is one truly a game result from unprofessional incompetent pieces of ■■■■ umpires who ruin so many games of football with their inept ■■■■■■■■ trash performances

The afl and media need to hold them accountable but they don’t so the unprofessional and embarrassingly bad quality of umpiring continues to ruin the sport. This is the only league in the world where they are shielded from accountability, consistency and criticism this much and the spectacle and fairness of the game is suffering because these umpires are so ■■■■■■■ pathetic at their jobs

Collingwood all the way! They truly look after their supporters and not left wing!

We’ve got one of the easiest runs home, whether we’re ready for finals or not is another story

Thanks dodoro for an imbalanced list of plodders.

I am so cut right now. That would’ve been one of the club’s greatest wins. I should honestly be feeling positive, knowing that we’re heading in the right direction… but that was just too heartbreaking

Yeah no way we are Playing finals now

Well what do people want out of it?

this club is going to kill me.

What a way to lose. So disappointed. Weideman WTF.

Incredibly unlucky fighting the umpires all night and to come back against the team second on the ladder is good signs old Essendon would have said ■■■■ it and packed up shop and lost by four or five goals.
But right now that sucks

We played with genuine heart and hardness today. Some of you blokes have too much hang ups about the past, focus on what the lads are doing now.
There’s something building here.

I can handle losing a close one against 2nd on the ladder, just not after the siren by a 55m kick in the wet.

Players shat the bed

Great effort, bad misses for goal, too many non-calls to count. Feel robbed.
