We started poorly and missed some gettable goals (as they did) so we had our chances. I’m trying to feel some positivity in the fact we matched the equal league leaders….but it’s heartbreaking stuff.

Actually, lost it after the Parish miss - Once Power went long down the middle you had to ensure the ball stayed in the pack or was punched forward - Port punching the ball forward was the worst result.

■■■■■■ away our season last week and again tonight
I thought we played unbelievably well from about 40mins in - happy with the performance. Port are a good team and they’ve beaten us by 5 and 4 after the siren.
Lots of positives- Phillips, Hobbs, Snelling, Caldwell great when we needed them to be. Backline held up really well when things were hard early.
Negatives- weid must not play for this club again, parish 0.4, shiel absolutely nothing as a sub, 2MP well held.
But can’t walk away from this upset

Parish and Weed kicked horribly tonight; they could’ve made all the difference if at least one of their attempts on goal went through. Unacceptable.

That loss is on Weideman and Brad Scott for backing the wrong horse and continuing with baffling team selections and substitutions.
2MP can’t do it alone, and Weideman offers three-fifths of fark-all.
Why would you sub out a ground level forward in piissing rain? Did Shiel even touch the ball?

We lost at selection again. I damn well know that Brad can coach and he has got the boys believing and playing well and switching up but we can’t keep playing the top teams with passengers.
