I feel like so much of this thread can already, and will be, summed up by saying that anything touted as “culturally melbourne” is an absolute self indulgent wank by those who peddle it.

Coffee is just a drink.
Food is just sustenance
Shows/ theatre are just entertainment
Graffiti on alleys is just graffiti on alleys

So on and so forth

Well I guess my unpopular football opinion is that the AFLs pandering to kids is ruining it. Kids arent the be all and end all. Keep the parents engaged and the kids will follow.
