US Election - More Division or New Revision? (Part 1)

Do we really expect these postal votes to make that much of a difference when Trump is already ahead? Or is it wishful thinking?

Thanks - just realised I forget to include Alaska (3 EVs). Trump already well up as expected. You would expect him to win and that would take him to 303 EVs.

I love being an elite. I mean who wouldn’t. Elite, such a nice ring to it.

Silver lining of a trump vctory is the death of American Neo liberalism, maybe now the Clinton/Obama era of post-Reagan Democrats can make way for the old school FDR democratic socialists focused on working class people.

True, but interestingly, “politicians are bad, and I’m not a politician” was good enough in '16…

Good point. What’s their economic proposal? “I’m not him” was the best they had? No wonder he/they probably won’t win.

The reactions probably tell the behind the scenes story.

Dems are comfy and confident, … Dump is immediately trying to muddy the waters and carrying on like a stuck Pig & Worried.

Or they’re just delusional.

yep perversely if you want big change, it may be better if Trump wins this.

It will be interesting to see if the Republicans go back to having a policy platform after Trump is gone.

no.

in 2016 there were two new candidates. 2020 is against an incumbent

As with here, the political parties always seem to know what the state of affairs are before the media and the public does.

Democrats need Midwestern rust belt politicians at the helm

That’s pretty much standard operating for both those parties though.

You don’t say.

Sarcasm?

Not sure they had one before.

Why count votes when you can walk on water?

$1.36
$3.00

Yeah maybe but regardless it’s clearly a thing. It’s happened at successive elections now where the polls have been a fair way off in favour of the democratic leader/party.
