But why is it a conspiracy? I mean, unless he’s working in the whitehouse (he’s not), or there is a view that he’s passing onto his dad how much money Person X paid him, how is it relevant to the presidency?
Um, no. Unless you can show the president is benefiting, or being influenced, or Hunter is working for the whitehouse. Its not the same at all.
Is Hunter doing anything wrong? Probably not, but it is morally grey. You can argue that he’s profiting of his father’s name. You can argue that he’s just doing normal business.
But it’s unnecessary. It looks bad. You could just wait a few years and not have any problems.
In CCC data collected from May 2020 to June 2021, 94% of protests involved no participant arrests, 97.9% involved no participant injuries, 98.6% involved no injuries to police, and 96.7% involved no property damage.
I’m not sure he’s successful. He kind of lurches from disaster to disaster from my limited understanding, trading on the name.
He’s basically a mess and a political liability.
Given that Joe Biden has lost a wife, a daughter, a son, and now Hunter, the last child left, has long term and serious personal issues his indulgence is completely understandable.
Why is it a blind spot? What is he meant to do? Kick him out of the family? Hunter isn’t doing anything illegal, he’s not working for Joe, what can Joe actually do?
That’s why I edited my post. Because blind spot is the wrong term or has connotations I did not mean to imply, though what parent does not have a blind spot when it comes to their children? I think he is doing what he should or can as a father in difficult circumstances.
Biden talks to Hunter twice daily, first and last thing, as part of his drug rehab if I recall.
American presidents have a history of dodgy family members, Roger Clinton, George W brothers. Generally the presidents try to avoid the suspect family members. Th difference with the Trumps are they are all in it together, a true crime family
