US politics - fried (part 5)

Yep … wheels are falling off. He’s gurgling …

Watch the rats fleeing the sinking Trump ship within the next few weeks and months. Zealots will soon be asking for their MAGA money back … but guess what folks.

We’ve spent it, says the Donald.

Imagine running for the job of the leader of the free world and using juvenile nicknames for your opponents. Sad!

Walz speech very impressive also.
(Very different to the tweet above).
Watch it if you can - a breath of fresh air.

Kamabla? Even a 5 year old would be ashamed of that effort. A racist five year old.

Wheels are falling off but you seriously underestimate his hold on the MAGA faithful. It is an absolute cult.

Everything with this guy is lowest common denominator. Don’t like someone? Belittle them, insult them personally, get racism and bigotry into it, shout louder and louder.

Oh for sure, I just thought ‘Kamabla’ particularly low energy. ‘Low Energy Donald’ would be a nice taunt right now too, seeing what it did to Jeb Bush back in the day. Would love to see that thrown back at the old loser.

I cannot for the life of me thinks of why anyone with half a brain things trump is anything but insane

Or at least see it for what it is, which is a childish wish for the reinstatement of a fatally weakened opponent. Where’s the ‘fight, fight, fight’ now there’s actually a fight on?

You guys just don’t get it.
You have to ignore the weird stuff he says.
Because…reasons.

Because… I am angry at the world and want the crazy orange man to burn it all down in a big, beautiful bonfire. The best bonfire.

EDIT: having now read Hillbilly Elegy, I can see one of the points being made in it by JD Vance. That white Americans who in past decades could earn decent money by working hard in the blue collar manufacturing jobs in the industrial mid west have been left behind by changes in the economy, but that there is also an element of lack of self responsibility / victimhood in there that makes it worse, the end result being that that part of the population has become alienated and disenfranchised, so liable to latch on to someone like Trump as an “easy” way out (just don’t look at the details).
How he got from there to where he is now appears to be a straight up case of “follow the money”, abandoning principles for power.

Is it just me, or do the Democrats have two reasonable and competent candidates. While the Republicans just have a couple of wierdos?

This could get very interesting…

It will either reaffirm your faith in humanity, or utterly destroy it. There is no middle ground.

He’s slightly more coherent than Biden. Just as geriatric brained. That new Google rant is something else.

Waiting for Walz to be branded a Chyna lover, his wife as well.

trump has clearly lost whatever brain he had . I know there is a few fans in here but cannot possibly get anything good about him. both he and his VP running mate seem fully focussed on insults . maybe that is the only thing his fans like. I just don’t get it . as a tv celebrity , yeah maybe , but the so called leader of the free workd? gimme a break

No tax on tips
No tax on social security for pensions
Drill oil for energy independence
Tariffs on foreign ev
Big pharma held accountable & investigate declining health
End the funding to Ukraine
Increase border security
Focus on and invest in American manufacturing
Ban child mutilation

Just a few reasons for the American taxpayer to vote Republican, without even going into the failures during joe bidens term.

Which of these do you disagree with?

Or, do you prefer the warmonger types and further escalating the situation with Russia?

Woah! You saved your first post in a decade for an absolute doozy!

I just love the cognitive dissonance with Russia invading Ukraine. Somehow it’s warmongering to support democracy from an authoritarian regime. How’s Russia driving tanks over a border for warmongering and escalation, why is it the U.S responsibility to not provoke an aggressor. Russia could just you know, withdraw?

lol.
He’s more coherent now than when he suggested injecting bleach?

He’s an accidental President. Pushed over the line by the FBI announcing they were investigating his opponent a week before the election, when in fact they were investigating both of them.
And still his opponent had more votes than him.

His presidency was a disaster, marked by riots and as horrific a response to a national disaster (and a few local ones) as you’ll ever see.

He refused to give up power when he lost the election, putting the lives of his colleagues in serious danger, and exacerbated that danger.

He’s a civil court rapist.
He’s attempted to corrupt an election. In short, he committed crimes against democracy.
He’s a tax cheat.
A felonious user of public money to cover up his transgressions with a ■■■■■.

And that’s…seriously off the top of my head.

On the other hand, there’s Kamala Harris…
