Yellen is shortly to make a decision on a proposed Japanese takeover of a major steel company. Reportedly it would bring benefits to Pennsylvania, but the Union opposes it.
I’m surprised it hasn’t been an election issue.
Can any Blitzers shed light on this?
A Trump supporter asked the 81-year-old to wear his predecessor’s cap while speaking to firefighters on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where the hijacked plane crashed.
“At the Shanksville Fire Station, President Joe Biden spoke about the country’s bipartisan unity after 9/11 and said we needed to get back to that,” White House spokesman Andrew Bates wrote on X.
“As a gesture, he gave a hat to a Trump supporter who then said that in the same spirit, (Biden) should put on his Trump cap. He briefly wore it.”
Harris had an amazing debate. Democrat enthusiasm is at an all time high. Trump’s act is tired and old and even higher ups in his own party would prefer he lost big.
Yet, from where I sit, he wins a close one.
This is what happens when you have an antiquated electoral college pretending to be democracy.
The one thing the Dems need to look at more closely is the Loomer vs MTG spat.
If they can find a way to further needle/expand that, and have MAGA v MAGA fight themselves, the better. It would help surpress the vote on the far right, and if just half-a-percent of MAGA were ■■■■■■ off enough to stay home, that might be just enough for the Dems to win the crucial swing states.
Craze is correct, irrespective of the context, it - Biden wearing the cap - will be used as propaganda.
But he’s not running against Trump , and the only people that will give a ■■■■ about it are already voting Trump anyway. Non issue in any meaningful sense.
“There will be no 3rd debate as all the cats and all the dogs in Ohio, beautiful Ohio, would have been eaten by transgendered illegal aliens. No one has seen anything like it in the history of Ohio. We have a failing country.”
