US politics - is weird (part 6)

The Electoral College is the big equalizer for sanity and bat ■■■■ insanity.

Vance is being cast as the President in waiting for the term after the next Presidency.

I mean he did say those exact words. The top panel is out of context with the bottom, but he said it

I don’t think Reagan or Bush Sr or Jr would even recognise Trump and Vance as possible members of their own parties.

The democrats are a centre right government by Australian standards.

US conservatives have always been off the reservation compared to ours but Trump has emboldened the white nationalists to say the quiet things out loud.

■■■■■ me that trump bullshit has spread to the liberal party here.

That’s the Christofascist for you. The Evangelicals, which Morrison was part of, are taking over the Libs, especially here in Victoria. They are not content to keep their radical brand of religion to themselves, they want to impose it on everyone else as well.

Trump going to deport legally settled migrants.
There’s a lot of legal Haitian voters in Florida.

Out to destroy a moderate who could well be an acceptable Premier in Victoria after ALP’s long term in office. As it is Pesutto only secured the leadership by one vote. I am impressed with his stamina throughout the Deeming defamation suit.

If they were going to vote for him before they’ll still vote for him now, it’s a cult.

‘I never thought they’d deport me’ lamented the supporter of the deport everyone who’s not white party.

More “quality” from Vance…and a pretty good clap back.

I wonder how those wonderful “Christian” Republicans will squirm out of the point she makes about nuns???

Gwen Walz told the Nebraska-based Star-Herald newspaper that they planned to get married on the Tiananmen Square massacre anniversary because “he wanted to have a date he’ll always remember.”

How weird is that

?

Just farken stop with this absolutely inane garbage.

How does that rate with Trump praising Xi on so many occasions?

It’s just not a gotcha point!!!

One guy is embellishing his travel stories to seem cool, the other wants to be a dictator. Pretty even if you ask me.

Actually seems like a quirky but clever way for a guy to remember his wedding anniversary. Find something that’s otherwise significant that you’ll notice and trigger your memory.

Waltz had a lot to do with studying China, so that date would be significant to his thinking. Other people would have dates that would be noticeable. Could be April 1st, the ides of March, whatever.

I see it as a kinda funny thing a guy did decades before entering politics.

Yeah so 5 years ago he embelished a story about himself. Pointless to do at the time.

Not sure what relevance is has now.

Sounds like black humour to me.

Don’t bother getting into a weird off if you support trump.

“You know, it doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”

“You have to treat [women] like ■■■■.”

“She does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

“All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me—consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.”

“I’ve known her for a long time. She’s tall, she’s almost six feet tall, and she’s been successful in every other way. She’s a lovely woman inside and out.”
— About daughter Tiffany Trump

“When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the ■■■■■.”

Tip of the iceberg

I got married on Australia Day. If we ever change the date, I’m stuffed.

The latest submission by Jack Smith to Chutkin comes to 180 pages of under oath testimony which proves Trumps intent to deny the American people their right of choice under the constitution. The 180 pages are on the docket. That means Trump cannot go to the SCOTUS to have it supressed. He can, however seek to delay the case.

It will probably not have much effect on the election result, but it looks like Trump is legally potentially toast, unless he wins. If he does the USA will knowingly have elected an insurrectionist mob boss as their leader.

If he loses. He will be actual toast.
