US politics - is weird (part 6)

I think his comments were more agreeing to Italy’s tackling the relentless surge of immigrants and their Albanian agreement. UK are not a blindfolded supporter of whats happened in Northern Africa.

The incoming pressure of ME and from elsewhere refugee / immigration requests is relentless. We’re ourselves keeping an eye and directly supporting several Syrian and Afghan families… they are wonderful people. But very traumatised. Its been a huge eye opener and education for me personally.

But Trump does?

“They asked (Biden), what do you think about Iran? Would you hit Iran? And he goes, ‘As long as they don’t hit the nuclear stuff.’ That’s the thing you want to hit, right?” he said.

“I think he’s got that one wrong. Isn’t that what you’re supposed to hit? I mean, it’s the biggest risk we have, nuclear weapons.

He’s fallen for the Russian nuclear rhetoric.

Russia has threatened a nuclear response to donations of HIMARS, tanks, ATACMS, striking the Kerch Bridge, striking the Kerch Bridge a second time, invading Russian land, donating Soviet fighter jets, donating F-16s… there’s a few more but I lost track.

None of these threats were serious, they were intended to exert psychological pressure and con those that are easily deluded due to domestic political views.

Russia cannot win the escalation ladder. They would all die in a nuclear exchange, so even a draw here is a loss. They would be absolutely obliterated in a conventional exchange with NATO. Every red line that is crossed immediately has history rewritten so that Russia can pretend it is inconsequential and not worth acting on.

The only place Russia can exert power against the West is in the grey zone. It’s why they’ve been blowing up factories in Europe, attempting assassinations of key European businessmen. Transferring technology to Iran and North Korea. Influencing the elections all across the West. And most recently, threatening to provide the Houthis with high spec anti ship missiles to cause physical and economic havoc in the Red Sea.

But no, we aren’t on the nuclear brink due to Biden. We are watching a weak nation exploit our fear of nuclear weapons in order to commit a horrific crime against humanity without meaningful consequences. Nations of the world are watching Russia get away with this and realising that a domestic nuclear weapon is a game changer for both national defence and provides advantages when on the offence. If that nuclear blackmail is allowed to succeed, we will see a massive spread of nuclear weapons to smaller states and THAT will lead us to the brink of a nuclear strike.

These are the true patriots. See how happy they are that things are going great in their nation. What a standup bunch.

The thing that alternately cracks me up and completely makes me mad is that the same folks who will have you believe that Biden is a catatonic senile old man who can barely string a sentence together, is also the mastermind of a sweeping global conspiracy to steal money from Ukraine for his own personal wealth and create horrific consequences for any nation that dare cross him.

The same folks will have you believe that Kamala Harris was completely absent and has done nothing in the last 3 1/2 years and is a total incompetent but also that she is a war mongering wanna be dictator.

Honestly, if mental gymnastics was an Olympic sport, you’d have a lot of gold medalists.

It wouldn’t cost that much if you just rounded up everyone who wasn’t white enough and then just dumped them over the border.

And they can divert funds for their grifting because they don’t need expensive equipment or a lot of training for the job.

Fark me…you are even dumber than I thought.

You quote the above as an attack on America (yet we all know you really mean those warmongerings Democrats).

And yet…in the history of America, the only time that the transition of government has seen any “internal strife” was when your boy Trump refused to do so and brought about the January 6 insurrection.

Ah, the old revisionist history attempt.

You don’t get to get away with this rubbish.

You’ve been attacking Harris and the Democrats all along.

You’re now trying to weasel out of your clearly untenable position(s).

But you’re not fooling anyone.

I think he means foreign governments, which the CIA has done multiple times.

I know what he means but you cannot attack one side for doing something when your own side is guilty of the same things.

The difference is that The Dems have not tried to overturn a legitimate election result in the US whereas Trump and the Republicans have.

It’s the New York Post. What do you think?
I mean seriously, it’s like posting something about the sex life of aliens from The Truth.

There’s a New York Times article on the same issue a week or so before this Post one. It’s a bit more explanatory.
