Option 1 - Trump is still passionately supported and the polls don’t pick up his strong support vs Kamala’s weak support. Also Republican efforts to purge electoral rolls and restrict registration helps in key states. Trump wins similarly to 2016.

Of all things, you cannot accuse people in this thread of shutting down discussion.

But that itself is a modern bullshtters trick:

(1) open debate
(2) encounter different opinions/arguments/information sources
(3) dismiss those arguments and start at (1) again as if making a new point
(4) other side gets frustrated
(5) accuse other side of shutting down debate

If I was bettering I would get a spread of it not being as close as the polls say but might go either way. I think the winner will get more than 300 electoral votes.

Option 2 - the polls are calibrated for Trumps quite voter who don’t come through this time as people are fed up with him. Kamala doesn’t win a lot more states but wins them more comfortably than Biden in 2020.

In 2016 the polls way underestimated the Trump vote, in 2020, they had still underestimated the Trump vote, so have they tweaked his support up and a bit over this time ?

In any case we only have to wait 4 weeks to get the answer.

Lets forget the polls. Its the differential partisan turnout in the key swing states that matters .

That’s fair man. This just got stuck in a loop bouncing off MAGA talking points and it just eventually hit a nerve. There’s been a lot of good sourcing and info provided to you, but you don’t question the talking points, just move to another angle that might support them. That lack of acknowledgement of new information and the work required to find it ends up being trolling, even if you don’t personally intend it as such.
