In 2022, Elon Musk denied a Ukrainian request to extend Starlink’s coverage up to Crimea during an attack on a Crimean port due to US sanctions on Russia. This event was widely reported in 2023 as an erroneous claim that Musk “turned off” Starlink coverage in Crimea.

I can see why people like Tulsi, she’s incredibly charismatic and bold. I did fall into that camp when she first made a run for the Democratic nomination. Thing is, I’ve since seen her fall down numerous conspiracy rabbit holes and fall for obvious misinformation. I don’t have any confidence in her logic or reasoning skills, which is disappointing as on paper she’s a high end talent.

When volunteers door knock in the US, are they allowed to hand out enrolment form?
Are they allowed to drive people to vote if they lack transport?
Or is this election interference? Unlike giving away a million bucks.
Giving people food or water while queuing to vote is illegal. Can’t remember which state legislated that.

The UK Maccas has pulled onions from its burgers. Seems the E.coli in US has been traced to the onions, not the meat.
Checking on import sources for UK and USA, Spain and China are their common import sources ( otherwise, they tend to import from closer regional countries).
No child left behind policy really set them back centuries.
Been using Starlink for 2 1/2 years, there is easy over 100k users in Aust. Makes Telstra @ Optus look very ordinary with 200Mb download & sub 50 ms ping time.
Super reliable & is entrenched in Australia for over 2 years due to the incompetence of Oz telecommunications companies .

Nah man. I didn’t like her when she was still a Dem. For instance, she was one of the leading voices parroting the Ukrianian CIA biolab conspiracy, which is just batshit crazy moronic. Anyone who can fall for that so easily is someone who I just cannot trust to make solid decisions, especially someone who’s branding is as a geopolitics specialist.
There’s a lot of Republicans who I respect as competent individuals who have policies that I disagee with. Tulsi from what I have seen is an easily conned conspiracy nut.

Agree Starlink is an exceptional product.
Musk is neither a hero or a villain, he’s a flawed but narrowly brilliant man.
I have extreme concerns about the ethics of his editorial decisions over Twitter whilst being one of the strongest pro-Trump spenders in the current election. His behaviour would be rightly condmened if he’d been doing the same thing for Harris.
The USA is a worse place for individuals of Musk’s financial clout having the amount of influence over the election that they do. Super PACs are an absolute abomination in general.

I’ve said it before that I hate that Musk is so active politically. Makes his other companies targets and they have been impacted politically with withdrawn contracts and not being awarded others for starlink as an example.
There are many individuals and companies that contribute millions via SPACs. Donations should be limited to a reasonable amount and way under $1m.

In the past salmonella outbreaks have been traced to a supplier of diced onions.
