US politics - never go full Project 2025 (part 8)

Where’s that video where he gets asked questions about the Bible? Fecking hilarious.

You mean the very first day of him declaring as a candidate?

Usual US politics disqualifies him at that moment for being a fake… that, plus the overt racism.

He could have gone with Titus 1:16
They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.

Last time I went was for a work conference in 2010. In the prev 2 years I’d been to Bali for a family holiday and Dubai/Saudi for work. They really didn’t want to let me in then. I’m half Chinese with a greying black beard. Pretty sure I won’t ever be going again, and neither will my kids. I had really enjoyed driving coast to coast over 4 months in a $1500 Cadillac in 1990. Wouldn’t be doing it now!

“We cannot give everyone a trial”
We can’t give everyone due process, so bugger it!
Pick & choose who gets due process?

All I wanna farking do is let my kids see their grandparents whilst they still can, and this league of morons believe that should be difficult for me.

I can’t wait until I see all of them squirming at their Nuremberg trials.

‘Badly planned’ holiday, my arse. Completely normal backpacking trip. Who at that age plans or books all their accomodation etc in advance? Part of the whole thing is having is a bit of freedom, to make plans spontaneously, to fall in love with a place and stay longer, to change plans to follow your holiday romance. This is how things are MEANT to work.

My cousin will be leaving America in a few weeks, bringing his ill father (who can’t fly alone) back to Aust from a third country to get medical attention. He’s been living there for over a decade, has a house, an American wife, green card, job, three American kids. I’m not entirely un-nervous about his prospects of getting back in, especially since his facebook posts have a tendency towards the Dem-favouring political at times, especially back in the 2016 and 2020 election cycles.
