The tariffs imposed to date have brought in significant revenue. Additional taxes will bring in a lot more, help with the deficit.
However, as a tax, they are inflationary.

Correct. They’re only " bringing in money " from American importers, companies and consumers.

Just so that no one loses sight of the real story in that - they are now openly using the political propaganda and opinions of Joseph Goebbels to justify their own current actions and aims. Openly.

Some in here told me that I was being extremely unreasonable - maybe even hysterical - in pointing out the obvious , consistent, worrying parallels between Trump / Maga and the 1930’s National Socialist playbook. From messaging to tactics…
