This is a bit delicate and I’m not trying to make light of your situation re your Gold Coast property.
But…it is clear from your posts in the Gold Coast thread that you are taking seriously the predictions of the Bureau of Meteorology.
What they are presenting in terms of what may occur is not actual fact…it is calculated predictions based on prior knowledge and expertise gained over years of experience.
A lot of the data that has been posted here in answer to your need for facts has been derived by similar methods.
Why do you believe one set of predictions and not the others?

Because of the noise surrounding all of this. There is just so much noise from all sides. Obviously started by Trump.
The reporting around Trump is just madness. So to get though it I choose to just look at the results.
Things like economic crash (Ok the market went down, it has before and comes back up)
Exec orders, they still need to get passed.
This many people will die because if this…

Answer these questions if you can:
Should we ignore the fact that Trump has basically shat on his alliances with NATO and Europe?
Should we ignore that everyone (except MAGA zealots) say that tariffs are bad and will only hurt both the US economy and the global economy?
Should we ignore the FACT that Trump has told his people to explore ways of getting rid of the sanctions imposed on Russia?
Should we ignore his threats to Greenland, Denmark, Canada, Panama and Mexico?
Should we ignore his treatment of Zelensky and the withdrawal of US Aid to Ukraine?
Should we ignore him giving free rein to Musk to gut the public service?
Should we ignore his plethora of hopelessly unsuitable choices for high level cabinet positions?
