US politics - The ICE epidemic (part 10)

To make Vance seem “reasonable”?

I think Trump’s contempt for Vance is fairly well documented. What we’re seeing now is the preemptive jockeying for position among the morons and psychos all keen to be the inheritor of Trump’s cult when he drops off the perch.

It’s tiresome. Even outlets that supposedly are “on my side” are tiresome.

My youtube algorithm is always giving me Meidas Touch stuff and it’s always like “TRUMP NEARING HIS DEATHBED” with no context or elaboration.

I’m as much tired of the blue cheerleading as I am with the red.

Yeah, some of those liberal websites have had the DOJ suffer a crushing blow every month. It’s crazy. I like seeing their headlines as they often are discussing important things. But the hyperbole is sickening.

Regular reminder that blue = capital, too. (Not that I doubt @stealthbomber etc are aware of the failings of the Dems)

It’s just the way it’s done these days…and it’s bl**dy annoying.

My boomer mind takes me back to wonderful days when the media found a story, fact checked it rigorously, sent it to the editor for approval…who did more checking…before passing it on to the printers.

No hidden (or overt) biases…just plain factual information.

Ah, the good old days.
