US politics - the new orange wave (Part 7)

I think it’s all going very well, keep up the great work King Don.

Quid pro quo. Personally, I think Putin helped Trump win the 2016 election and helped Musk help Trump win this one. And that is just the tip of the iceberg…

The Transition Team has Plans, shovel ready. Trump does the ANNOUNCE, they implement.

Under Howard he also eventually expanded the Public service to the biggest it’s ever been, on the way out to try pump the economy.

But yeah he was a nasty **** and his other economic policies created the ■■■■ show we have today.

“razor gang” was 1970’s Fraser govt, preceding robodebt by several decades. robodebt was nowhere near a direct consequence.
It was its own evil perpetrated by an even more malign govt than Fraser had

edit: as I see @swoodley also posted

He privatised the employment sector and then did away with the bulk of mental health services that supported people who couldn’t benefit from mainstream employment services.

That part of the labour force has never recovered.

Of all the sh*t PMs we’ve had in my time, he tops them all for the damage done (imo).

There was a later razor gang when Howard gained government. I was there.

The Libs call it a Razor Gang because they get their rocks off being cruel. The ALP calls it '‘efficiency dividends’ because they like to pretend to be nice. Same ■■■■, different bucket.

Results for incumbent governments all over the world by year: inflation is not taken well when it kinda hasn’t existed for forty years.

Labor in NSW just gave the police a 40% payrise.

Inspectors are on over 200k a year. A sergeant who might pull you over for a breathalyser is on 150-170k a year.

Wish i could get that sort of dough in the private sector

We had inflation of around 6% when the dotcom bubble burst.

As to the NSW police pay rise, the Police Association said the offer for non commissioned officers was between 22.3% and 39.4% over four years.
Commissioned officers and Inspectors would receive rises of between 13.9% and 15% over the same period.
At least 10k would receive an average rise of 25%.
A collapse in pay scales would reduce the average of 15 years to be promoted to the upper echelons.

LOL

Bankrupting companies that sell processed foods.
Fluoride out of the water supply
Being anti science, he’ll probably wind back vaccinations, spread misinformation about ivermectin and hydroclhoroquine.
