I’m not sure which variant is worse tbh.
If I was having gold carseys and extras installed I’d expect the plumber to do a bit better with the outlet on the bidet.
So not really “Nuclear” testing, but I’m glad someone talked some sense into him.
I hope he got some at least…![]()
Ah huh. Donny and Vlad finally looking at tying the knot and moving in together.
Russian President Vladimir Putin‘s investment envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, has proposed that the U.S. join Russia in building an $8 billion underground tunnel underneath the Bering Strait, allowing the countries to explore natural resources and signify a unity between them.
The envoy and head of Russia’s RDIF sovereign wealth fund suggested that it would be a 70-mile-long channel and would take under eight years to construct.
The proposition was presented to President Donald Trump following a phone call between Trump and Putin, during which they discussed scheduling a meeting to discuss the end of the war in Ukraine.
In a meeting in Washington between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a reporter inquired about Zelensky’s feelings toward the tunnel pitch. “I’m not happy with this idea,” he responded, eliciting laughter from U.S. reporters.
Dmitriev suggested that the tunnel be built by The Boring Company, a tunnel-building company owned by Elon Musk. He also proposed that the U.S. could potentially collaborate with Russia on its Arctic projects.
“Imagine connecting the US and Russia, the Americas and the Afro-Eurasia with the Putin-Trump Tunnel – a 70-mile link symbolizing unity. Traditional costs are $65B+, but @boringcompany’s tech could reduce it to <$8B. Let’s build a future together,” Dmitriev wrote in a post on X, tagging Musk.
“RDIF has already invested in and built the first-ever Russia-China railroad bridge. The time has come to do more and connect the Continents for the first time in human history. The time has come to connect Russia and the U.S.”
“The dream of a U.S.-Russia link via the Bering Strait reflects an enduring vision – from the 1904 Siberia-Alaska railway to Russia’s 2007 plan. RDIF has studied existing proposals, including the US-Canada-Russia-China railroad, and will support the most viable.”
The project, while offering benefits to the U.S., such as freight pathways straight to Russia and resource and energy opportunities, poses some difficulties, particularly regarding infrastructure. The project is anticipated to present the engineering team with some challenges, given the region’s remote location and harsh weather conditions.
Donald and Vlad need to think laterally. I believe there are these things called ships, maybe they could use them?
I’ve had nearly a decade to get used to it. But somehow this POS has attracted millions of followers to become the most powerful person on the planet. Twice. And it still floors me. Everyday. Single. Day.
Yes, but think of the Tank columns coming to ‘liberate’ Alaska. They would much prefer tunnels…
“That’s what barry_day has been posting on blitz about you.”
