Hard to read into this.
Given that players who aren’t close to borderline best 22 (lord etc.) aren’t playing at all, does this mean Jones needs fitness and touch to make round 1 AFL team?
Seems he been put in that basket given the other names around him.
Most AFL listed guys that played a full game last week are not playing today in the VFL, except Jones. That says to me Jones needs to play well

Even if Harry does, I reckon he wont make R1. Unless he kicks 7 and dominates.
Feels like BDB has his R1 lineup in mind and only Guelfi, Balders and Langers will be considered. And only if they play well in the VFL.

I don’t think there is, and honestly, I can’t blame the club if they looked at a VFL practice match and went “nahh, not worth the effort to stream that”.

With our paper mache backline and talls on the sidelines? I would much prefer to see Baldwin get more exposure as a backup defender.

It’s a practice match so it doesn’t matter if we have a ring in vfl player to play tall defender. We are robbing Peter to pay Paul by playing Baldwin down back.
