Winders, Rama, Ryder would get a game in any side. Dempsey and Lovett were both good players that should have played more games.
Article doesnāt mention The Big Vig. Fail.
(It does mention Gerryn.)
I thought Vig had a good solid game.
Thers a compelling amount of talent for the vfl side to be a must watch this season, hopefully some coaching stability (reasons beyond our control) can turn our vfl team into a feeder factory
So happy to hear we are trying Nguyen forward.
He could genuinely be our version of Darcy Jones he has lightning speed and furious tackling and pressure, if he can tidy up the kicking he will be a massive steal
What are your thoughts on him mate, reckon heāll get a run at AFL level this year ?
RE Vig.
Nguyen had one pretty poor set shot (mis-reading the wind), but his composure and disposal was pretty good in much tighter moments.
If you think we need two legit smalls forward, I think he might be a decent candidate for that secondary role.
(This was the only time Iāve seen him.)
Heās a little nugget too, and very agile. Has all the physical attributes to be a good small forward, just needs to develop the forward nous. Hereās hoping he can!
Mick Martyn unfortunately
Heās slippery and can break tackles despite his small height. Iād like for his mate kako to educate him on goal sense and all the practice he has done to become an elite crumber, as the two of them have been mates for a few years.
Thank you for taking the time to write this between your hot chip reviews
Nice move of the goal posts.
You donāt have much idea do you

You donāt have much idea do you
LOL, first you argue Dodorro never had a lot of quick players, obviously not knowing (or remembering?) anything about the late Sheedy/early Knights years. When it is pointed out we had lots of quick players playing at the same time, you instead try to argue āoh, but they were average or uselessā.
Then when itās called out that youāve moved the goalposts, you just fall back to making an attack on me. Also ignoring another poster had pointed out your statement on their quality was wrong.
Not very nice.

your statement on their quality was wrong.
I thought he was just being silly, didnāt realise that was a serious comment. Goodness me there is some quality in those players.
I have read your posts, I will say again you do not have much idea.
If you just leave it at Winders, Lovett, Davey, Dempsey
They all had elite pace
Atkinson too but he wasnāt on the list long.
It was a quick game plan and we ran from defence.
then you have later Dodoro sides with Saad and McKenna running fast from defence.
A quick side is not made up of a couple of quick players running around, Lovett had class but was a serious head case, Dempsey ran around like a headless chook most of the time Davey was quick but an average player, Atkinson was rubbish. Winders was fine but he was not a superstar.
Dig up.
Davey and winders had great years, both suffered from injuries.
They were all quick.
