You would think he comes in at some point. I wanted to see his defensive side improve. Today was easily his best day in that area. Just a natural footballer.
I thought Day-Wicks toughness as our inside mid was fantastic. He is really coming on strong. I have had him in our top 2 players the last two VFL games.

The very concept of a “practice match” four rounds into the premiership season is utterly and irredeemably farcical. This is such a Mickey mouse competition now.

So from early exposed form, we appear to have a likely prospect in Day-Wicks. It sounds like Johnson and Clark have shown promising signs. That’s three players from this latest crop which would be a strong result.

I’ve been cynical about the admin and football department for a long long time.
I tend to be a bit more positive about players (unless they can’t kick)

When you really think about it, it’s surprising how he missed out on the national draft with his natural talent. Glad we snapped him in the rookie draft and even more promising he’s named in our emergencies.
Massive credit to him he’s doing all this coming from a limited preseason
