VFL - Round 10 vs Coburg @ Windy Hill, 11:35am Sunday 29 May 2022

If we don’t win this game I can’t see us winning a game this year. Both teams are sloppy and have no midfield presence. A few signs here and there from a few players, as per usual no one dominating. Hopefully our MSD picks can jump in and have an impact.

The thing is that no-one looks a class above.
Stewart looks right at the level and Francis…doesn’t. It’s really quite frustrating and disturbing.

Has that kid in the middle having a halftime kick nominated for the mid-season draft?

Every time I’ve seen Lord he’s been caught holding the ball at least once or twice. Looks miles off it. Baldwin probably the only one that has an “it” factor about him, everyone looks smack bang VFL average.

In the beanie?

Got a decent boot on him.

the lack of intesity, the sloppy tackling, the effort from the AFL players, it is not just a matter of ability. Who is coacjhing them. At least they could pretend to care.

The two kids in the foreground are an accurate representation of our skill level.
Particularly the one who tripped over his own feet.

Going well…

Bryan with 4 marks and 25 hitouts in a half is encouraging, at least.

His marking in the first qtr was really good. Just needs to do it in the fwd line.

All 3 will be delisted over the next 2 years imo

We’re leading the inside 50’s 37-24 but even at this level, teams waltz it back out and go end-to-end far too easily for the first goal of the second half.

Cutler and Bryan clearly our best and a class above the level

This bloke in the long sleeves has been lively for Coburg.

I can’t imagine how many VFL players must wonder why they’re not drafted.

Gonna get flogged now

Josh D’Intinosante, dominated the NAB league a few years ago, unlucky not to be drafted imo
