Ben Brown, Adam Tomlinson and Tom Fullarton boost Casey’s height profile for its game against Essendon, a team it hasn’t lost to in its past nine matches, with the Bombers regaining Sam Weideman.

There are also sons-of-guns debutants, with Casey unveiling Noah Yze, the son of former Melbourne star and now Richmond coach Adem

Will head along (weather pending) as Grenvold Junior will tag along too. Live around the corner so a ‘local’ game for me. Go Dons.

Looking forward to seeing Hayes against a tall backline, Tsatas around the ball, Bryan in the ruck and the smalls (Davey x2 and Menzie) up forward. Oh and Wanganeen across the backline.

The seniors are too tall up forward and the reserves look too small.

I think with the VFL it’s more just how they’ve been named.

Enough height with Visentini, Eckersley and Jedwab.

That looks on paper about the best and most balanced side (in terms of type and spread of decent players) we have fielded for the year. However, the Casey Demons look pretty stacked as well, and it is nigh on impossible to win at Casey fields, or it has been in the past. Light winds forecast I see - yeah, sure.

Heading to this one, hopefully we up and about

After lst night, this game shapes up as being really pivotal. Chance for some to put their hand up. Will only have a 5 day break though.

It wont matter. We’ll likely see Lav In and Cox out this week or maybe Hind out. Thats the way selection has gone all year so don’t think otherwise

You forgot Caddy out

Our selection is so stuffed up. I like so many supporters a so fed up with the way we are developing our players and giving them game time.
Look at there opponents today , taj wowoedin was the senior sub last night and comes on in the last quarter and now is picked to play for casey today so he can get so decent game time.

While our inbread fools play nick hind for 4 mins last week and 30 mins last night , so that’s 34 mins in the last 2 weeks. But refuse to give him game time in the vfl last week and last night…
Bloody disgusting

surely last night was hind on field late change, roberts sub, if he plays <30m pop him into vfl for 3/4s

horrid kick

should have played on into the open goalsquare

I really despise the handball backwards tactic that seems to have permeated through both V/AFL game plans
