Has been nice to see regular names in the VFL this year. Thanks Christ they got their act together regarding the VFL listed players. Obviously with injuries it would’ve been nicer to see more AFL listed players but it has also exposed more VFL talent ie Monteith, N Scott et al
The list build with the VFL has been somewhat exciting this year. Targeted recruits like Nyko, Monteith were excellent, local lads like Scott, Brodie were good. Building on the ones we had from last year was paramount in Foley, McKay, Hoare and then top it off with some very good VFL players with AFL experience was tremendous.
Id be excited to see if we can keep these younger lads together fro 2 more years and see what they can build together. Think the AFL listers should be good enough with the handover in list management now identifying better talent.
Versus Sandy is a big opportunity to win
First bounce from 2:10pm, broadcast live on 7mate with streaming also available on the AFL app and website.

Imagine a normal injury toll and adding 15 AFL listed players to that team; especially now that they have had AFL exposure.
We’d be VFL top shelf I would guess.
Does
Sellers take another strong, contested mark and kicks his second goal.

Duff-Tytler looks a good prospect based on his size and strength
Woodend product Duff-Tytler gets a free and goals with his first VFL kick.
Draft him now
And a second. Wow
This has Shanahan vibes all over it. How do we get the number 1 pick off the eagles?
And shortly after, he follows it up with a mark and easy goal for his second.
