LOL, yes…

You can watch both teams lose by a combined 300 points and get 30% off the Bombershop for limited time and also 13% off Anzac gurnseys!

So you’re saying we will only Lose The Weekend on percentage?

According to the injury list put out by the club (on Wed), Kondogiannis and Sharp are not injured. It is to be hoped they will play in the VFL, although for the life of me I can’t see why Sharp isn’t in the seniors.

Has the team not been announced yet?

I used to love watching the reserves before the big game, back in the day…

I actually have enjoyed watching the vfl this year (streamed) seeing who might be ready and not being upset about the result or where we are at.

I haven’t been to too many games live since the saga despite staying a member, but I’ve been to more vfl games at windy hill since then, than I have any afl games.

I can’t be bothered going to an afl game or watching it - just annoys me too much, everything.. afl generally, commentators, oppo supporters, and the obvious results of mismanagement..

VFL just seems a bit more relaxed for me.

Almost tempted to go and watch it seeing they are playing back to back, but nah. Maybe I would if it was a home game.

Anyway.. where’s the team?

The AFL have published the only team that matters:

FOOTSCRAY BULLDOGS vs ESSENDON

I identify with almost all of that. I used to love watching the reserves in the early 70s before all the “baby bombers” like Watson, Madden, Van der Haar and co. arrived. We would forever be looking out for the young up and comers who might help us claw our way back up the ladder. I could name a list of about 20 from the reserves in those days that we had hopes for and didn’t make it. It’s enjoyable nonetheless, but it does pay to remember that about 80-90% of the young 2nds players don’t quite measure up in the end. But there’s nothing else to be done except keep persevering and developing and hope it comes good.

Will not be aired on Kayo – and they are likely annoyed about that late change, as they needed to go to bloody Arden Street instead of just double-heading with us.

Has the team dropped yet?

Usual form for Sunday games is Friday ~6pm.

And yes, it is still Friday… in fact, the most boring Friday of the entire year.

(Oddly, teams for one Sunday game are already released.)
