In defence of ADW, flying over to Perth as the travelling emergency and back over a short period of time really plays havoc with a routine.

I agree. I think he looks a bit like Bryan did at about the same stage of his development, but plus a bit. He showed last year a bit of ability as a forward, and he gets more of the ball (albeit on 1 showing only) when in the ruck. His mobility looks pretty good.

Is Nyko an AFL listed player? I dont think he is. He would need to be drafted in the MSD.
He is not an AFL listed player. Nyko has some tricks but I’ve always found his disposal very untidy.

I thought big Vigo was great too.
Surely goldy, Wright and if needed for brief stints Cox, Reid, Jones, gerryn are enough break glass options. Let alone Vigo, who in a so called development year should get a gig as second ruck to expose him to the afl. I know brad would never, but it fast tracks development and he has decent strength for his age already. If the season is cooked by mid year i wouldn’t even bother bringing in another ruck, unless goldy is gonna retire at year’s end anyway.

I rekon play an extra midfielder into the mid field rotation and just get a tall to nullify the opposition ruck by negative tactics like wrestling
