How do we know that’s actually him though?
He’s holding his hamstring
Well, he’s wearing an Essendon jumper, and kind of looks like he’s grabbing a hamstring, so he’s definitely an Essendon listed player.
Edit: damn it, too slow.
Kicked the goal from the free.
Got the ball again near the top of the square (under pressure), tried to handball but almost missed his hand unfortunately.
We’re dominating disposal (and free kicks, we’ve had 12 already??).
Need to put it on the scoreboard though. Been outmarked pretty heavily.
Thanks folks. Tuning in to watch Caddy mainly and have already experienced once this year when he had already gone off injured prior to my tuning in. Was hoping the same hadn’t happened again.
Very scrapy game. Bouncing back and forth. Sheils had a bunch of it, definitely a cut above. I wouldn’t pay much attention to his defensive effort as I’m sure he’s partly been instructed to get the run through the legs but not crack in too hard.
He was just subtly reminding the coaches he’s a ruckman, clearly wants a centre bounce or two.
Good, tough, rugged defensive play by the Dons with Hayes outstanding at the back. Shiel accumulating in the middle, Caddy presenting well in the forward line.
Shiel with 11 in the first is not too shabby. Was it an influential first quarter? Really like him to be grabbing these games by the scruff of the neck.
Can’t see how he gets a game at the moment anyway
