VFL - round 7 vs Swans @ Windy Hill - 11am Saturday 10 May 2025

He’s doing it against players that a) he’s more talented than, and b) against players who are predominantly close to his own age level. Needs to show more against players of his talent level or greater, and players who have been in the system 6-8 years. He’s looked a long way off the pace at AFL level, plus the limitations on him being a one-dimensional player that doesn’t have a second string to his bow.

Nice blind turn from Foley

Something that the guy keeping him out in Shiel is known for

Davey nice kick inside 50 hits up Menzie and kicks forward to hard running Foley who marks 25m out after running 100m for that ball.

kicks a behind.

Is Cox playing this quarter? Was rested in Q4 last week and not seen him.

Always looking for the negative angle you two.

I’m no advocate for shiel at all, one of my least favorite efc players

I choose to believe Tsatas came out for Caldwell, makes more sense to me

Nice tackle son

Too greek and handsome for mine

I get some people don’t rate Tsatas which is fine. But this isn’t the game to criticise him on. He has been nothing short of excellent.

That’s the reality of the situation. It’s like a batsman who plunders runs in the 2s, gets promoted and gets found out by better bowlers. There’s a lot of deficiencies in his game and that’s the reason why others are ahead of him in the midfield pecking order.

Yeah I get it too, Just weird they come into this game and make those comments.

Vissentini so good by foot for a ruckman

It isn’t thought it’s sheil vs Tsatas
One could possible have a ten year future with us while the other may not play on more than one more year.
Plus Tsatas is better in every midfield metric over Shiel

Kicking has been pretty good the last few games, on a great trajectory if he continues working on it

Nick Cox off with the Physio on the bench.

Well I personally criticised one aspect of his game and that particular aspect has been very visible in the last few plays when turnovers have happened in areas where he could have applied defensive pressure

You just cannot bring yourself to say he is having a good game. Always looking for an angle to criticise. That’s the reality of the situation.

good quick hands Guelfi, to Quiggly and he hits up O’Neill for shot on goal.

And he scores a goal.
