Z. Johnson (AFL)

Double-header, but not at The Hangar.

Women’s chance to smash Fark Carlton from 2:30.

So that would mean Johnson is the travelling emergency and not Tsatas

Just means he is going to be at Marvel as the emergency.

Edit: Sorry, that was supposed to be a reply to Clone_Hirdy’s post.

It will be a good test for Visintini to play on a seasoned AFL ruckman in Ladhams.

I like cox and Clark on respective wings. Let cox have a good run, don’t care how rusty he is.

Great for Johnson to be emergency, but he’d be better off getting a run in the VFL.

He’s knocking on the door so deserves to be there I suppose. Also introduces him to an AFL game day environment and prep up close … which has to be good. He’ll get his chance this season :crossed_fingers:

Probably not the end of the world he misses, hes played plenty of VFL games. And if someone does an injury pre game he’s in.
Better for Tsatas to play VFL given he has missed a few weeks with hand and afl schedule.

I thought this was on tonight for some reason, also didn’t realise Cox played last week. Looking at the stats, pretty low key return.

How many Swans Lav headbutt?

Menzie should be the traveling emergency, guys like Johnson, Tstatas need to be playing week in week out

Given VFL has the bye next week. Its not a crazy idea to have Johnson have a fitness workout block for 2-3 weeks . For me i can still see him not as yet senior level fit when it comes to running defensively. Had no pre-season. Smart play for me is to get his running fitness up for 2-3 weeks

Glad he’s back

Don’t think the server could have handled the pun load if cox had to retire due to repeated head injuries

Can’t he just gain fitness by actually playing? If he misses this week then that’s two weeks of no footy. Just seems like a momentum breaker

Why would an experienced player like Eckersley be only an emergency?

Its why De Goey is discussed from ex players in media look at doing weeks of fitness and miss some games. Playing doesn’t get you as fit as the recovery doesn’t allow you midweek to train in full. You’re more managed.

The schedule for the vfl is crap the sooner we move to a seconds comp the better

Healthy list?

Peris is only emergency as well and he plays most week.

I don’t recognise quigg?

Signed in the offseason. Has played the last couple of games for us (Giants VFL team last year).

20, captained the bushrangers in 2022 and came second in their BnF
