One thing we could always take some pride in, even in our shittest of ■■■■ seasons over the past 15 years, is an ultra competitive VFL side that would give us a bit of hope in those worst times.

That wasn’t really correct. Essendon midfielder was right there, problem was he was easily pushed under the ball by Collier-Dawkins who then got the ball with ease.
Our midfielders are small.
Maybe you’re right.
Is RCD still not getting a game for them? Wasn’t he highly rated? Should we ask the question.

That’s the problem with our crap vfl setup.
Forwards can’t really get form there. They just don’t see enough play.
