I think Artemis will be ok long term , but geez this club shoots itself in the foot.
Joel Fitzgerald right under our noses. We deemed him not good enough for a list spot. He had 24 disposals yesterday for Melbourne.
And most people are calling for Artemis to come straight in. Its bewildering some of the decisions this club makes

He was absolutely nowhere near it as a player. Going off one game’s stats to compare him and Artemis is ridiculous.

No, he is saying we shot ourselves in the foot for picking Artemis instead of Fitzgerald.
Using Lual as a stat level is a bit weird.
Artemis is 4 years younger and doesn’t have multiple years of VFL exposure like Fitzgerald. Not really a fair comparison, especially not after Jaxon’s first game at a new club.
Time will tell.

I was a fan when he was with us (and was hoping we’d open up a second spot and take him), but his disposal remains a bit of a concern. Does everything else really well though.
Not really sure how he’d fit into our midfield (or future midfield for that matter)
Also, he has 26 disposals
Very happy with the Artemis pick.
Let’s wait until Fitzgerald plays an AFL standard team before deeming him a success.
