They’ve had to send a bunch up to AFL to cover injuries so we really should be winning this to keep the finals push going.

keen to get a look at Snell since he’s one of the few KPDs on the draft boards.

he will be gone before our second pick.

Plays for Eaglehawk in the Bendigo league. Seen him play a few times used to play with the Pioneers. Good overhead for his size and a nice kick.

Question assuming we make finals.

How many of the current group can actually play in finals? I read somewhere you have to have played 5 games in VFL and less than 13 in AFL to qualify or something along those lines?

Is it correct to assume then if everyone stays fit and keeps playing in AFL and VFL programs that the folllwing players will be eligible for vfl when seniors is done in 3 weeks

Johnson
Huss
Vigo
Kondo
Artemis
Unwin
Gerreyn

It would be good to have a stacked VFL team for finals and actually go deep for their development

Not much left to watch, theyre all in the senior now.

Hopefully Nguyen goes well.

Win this Bombers ..Bring us some joy.
Nothing better than smacking Collingwood, VFL or whatever.

The minute the AFL season is done then any VFL players with niggles or needing surgery will come straight out.

That would be silly IMO for a team with very few wins at any level within the club surely young players getting a chance to play in finals would be fantastic for their development

no parish? is he injured?

Not if it eats too much into break time. Clubs need players to all go in to into surgery and rehab to be ready early. In all the state leagues you will see the AFL clubs pretty much pull players from their reserves once the league are finished. Some may even not have any interest playing VFL

Agree. Perhaps the thoughts of our new coach should be considered prior to sending players off for surgery. I think the development opportunities are probably more important.
