19 AFL players for the top-of-the-ladder team, versus 10.5 for us, and obvious structural deficiencies (we should have been murdered in the ruck). We’ll beat them in a Grand Final.
(And boy some of our 10.5 were awful.)

We rarely have both AFL & VFL teams in the finals together or individually.
thats worse than the north melbourne loss that ended steinbergs career.
We are a pathetic club. A stinky, pathetic, shithouse club that has done nothing for almost 20 years and are entirely built off the delusional hopes of boomers who last enjoyed football happiness in their 20’s (and are now 40+) whilst the younger generation lives off youtube highlight videos. West Coast dropping 7 goals in a quarter to go up by 13 goals, probably in the third, whilst the crowd roars its appreciation of Nic Nat will be the final straw. there is just no excuse at any level for giving up a 40 point lead in the last.

20 AFL listed players to 11 and a bunch of fark wits are dummy spitting left right and centre.
How about you appreciate the efforts it took to be in front by so much at 3/4 time?
Blokes kept trying, threw themselves into it and ran out of legs by 20 seconds.
Against a virtually full AFL list remember.
Not a bad effort by 11 part timers, some retiring veterans, and only a handful of players who’ll still be on the list next year.
So stick your whinging where the sun don’t shine, and back your players in next week.

I also love how we tested one of our better VFL players, who is fringe 22 seniors at best (snelling) halfway through the game because we think he may have something to co tribute to the seniors

Houlahan just signed his departure papers with that performance, 4 possessions and 0 influence on the game. We had to use the 23rd man, Day, as our key target because Houlahan was giving nothing.
