There are four groups, and the top three nations from each group progress from the initial stage.
We don’t yet know if flag footy will be included in Brisbane 2032 as well as LA 2028.
Stop watching after first play of the day being a Manfre touchdown, and just assume we beat the USA.
The rest of the match was 0-49.
This is actually a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. Every play is just throwing bombs.
The US quarterback is throwing everything sidearm.
Australia made the knockout group of 16, but were instantly eliminated by eventual third-place Japan.
The final ended up being USA vs Mexico and the result (31-18) was a near clone to the last Champs two years ago. Mexico is the only team to finish top four in the past eight World Champs (the USA missed out in 2016, when they were hosting it… how embarrassment!)
Manfre was second in the team for distance achieved.
PRE-ANNOUNCE THIRD EFC WOMAN IN THE OLYMPICS.
Bendigo Bomber (no, not that type of BB) Lavina Cox grabbing a lot of attention at the (all of Australia) combine:
- first for Agility
- first for Running Vertical Jump
- second for Standing Vertical Jump
- top 10 finish for the other two events (20m sprint and 2km time trial)
Her agility score was an all-time Combine record, stripping that honour from Mon Conti.
She played an impressive game on the wing for us in our ten-goal-failure vs Norf in round 9.
Jeepers. If she out agiles Mon Conti, that’s quite a feat.
Would you believe… she has a basketball background? Was in the VIC country U18 team last year.
172cm but lightweight… but is more than an athlete, had 18 disposals against the ultimate premiers with little help from the rest of the team that day.
