Similar to Footscray, the theme song had to be recorded to replace “boys” with “girls”. I’ll leave it to those not partially deaf to pick it apart, but it’s pleasantly folksy.
The article notes it was recorded by the AFL. It also refers to The Rodski purely by his surname and without context or closing punctuation.

Ahead of the Bombers’ debut in the VFLW against Hawthorn this Sunday at Windy Hill, the club has commissioned a new female version of “See the Bombers Fly Up”.
I reckon it’s pretty good. Certainly a lot better than Mike Brady’s version of the club song around 18 years ago!
Side note - I’ll post in the next day or two Radio and Video Streaming details for this Sunday’s match.

The VFL app says VFLW team lists (with attributes, presumably) will be released on Thursday May 3.
(That message is probably hidden somewhere on the VFL site, as many parts of the app are just front-ends to it.)
Anyone know how Hird and Long go as players?
Will be the first interview, running for half-an-hour (from approx. 6pm to 6.35pm).

It appears we have found all our inside midfielders. They are in the VFLW team leadership group.

I’m going to start referring to him only as ‘The Rodski’ from now on.

Aysha Ward is Callan’s sister just as a bit of a pointless fact.

are they full completed before their season starts? does @Bomb_Doe need to go on a photoshop campaign?
Interview with the inaugural Essendon VFLW captain Lisa Williams is first up in the podcast.
She talks about playing footy at her previous VWFL/VFLW club Diamond Creek, her time at the Western Bulldogs (AFLW 2017), how she came to Essendon and gives us the lowdown on the players to watch.

Has anyone mentioned that Windy Hill are hosting a season launch lunch?
Just in case anyone is keen, $48 for a two course meal, hosted function and grand stand seating.
