THE intercept marker of the team. Zoe Hurrell spent one pre-season match in the midfield (did alright) and then never left HB for the rest of the year.
FOOTY FACES. Yikes.
Despite conceding 6 goals, every defender gets a pass from me, including Maddy Pearson.
Yeah… Fede was never this big at Essendon. Had surgery to come back from over the summer, but it’s been four months since that.
Just have some tricks to fark Collingwood next week, please.
Davidge and Orritt applying the pressure.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say this was not one of our 5 free kicks.
Sutton started forward so we could pretend we had a small forward, but transitioned to the middle as the game went on (and injuries mounted?)
If this is the one I think it was (the photos would need to be slightly out of order, which is rare for Gallivant), this was a sweet bump by Jayda in the final quarter.
Wilson actually did a reasonable impression of a small forward during the finals, but she is fundamentally a too-small not-fast-enough leading full forward.
Liv Barton is an excellent full-back at this level of the game. Small by AFLW standards, but bigger than all of our VFLW forwards on the day (OK, Jayda has her by height, but not by compact bulk).
Fede had 14 disposals despite never venturing midfield – more than last week when she never ventured forward!
Crook kept her scoreless, though.
