- The Demons have this week removed all of their AFLW players because fark you, that’s why. Geelong now favourites to go back-to-back-to-back?
- Fark Carlton trying to sabotage the Pies (and avoid the possibility of being wooden spooner) by bringing in 11 AFLW players including seniors like Vescio and Bohnanna. They’ve lost von Bertouch to a hamstring, though.
- Barba, like McDonald, does not return from concussion. For Alana that may be because they drew the short straw of playing at Footscray on Friday night (hence only 20 days break).
We haven’t lost to Darebin since 2018, and we haven’t let them score more than 10 points since 2021.
They improved greatly after that early-season game last year, though…
