Ha, even that win at the bottom needs a huge asterisk given how crap the Cats have become.
The last two weeks give a clue as to which team might win this game.

*9th of June.
Stalking update: don’t expect Jayda Richardson to come back in this week (off to NZ today).
Russell replaces Gallagher in the ruck.
Huggard dropped for Porter. I reckon that’s pretty harsh (13 disposals and 5 tackles last week on the wing), but it is a credit to our depth and competition for spots.
On that, VFLW veterans McNiece and Shaw are yet to play in the H&A for us (did so, very well, in the pre-season).

Fark you, AFL, for farking this league. This is bullshit.
Reminder: FCFC are 99.9% certain not to make finals, even if they played their full AFLW team for the last three rounds.
Fark Carlton has turned the prospect of a daunting rebel VFLW challenge against close rival Essendon into a match where it will start as red-hot favourite after sweeping 14 AFLW stars into the team for Sunday’s clash at Windy Hill.
Blues AFLW fans should flock to the game as some of their biggest names add an on-field hitout to the start of their pre-season campaign. They include captain Kerryn Peterson, who will play her first VFLW match in six years and Abbie McKay, who lines up for the first time since 2021.
Gab Pound and Jess Good will play their first games of the season while fellow guns Mimi Hill, Keeley Sherar, Darcy Vescio, Maddie Guerin, Gen Lawson-Tavan, Lily Goss, Brooke Vickers, Meg Robertson and Lulu Beatty have also been named alongside Irish product Dayna Finn, who makes her VFLW debut.

Wow. Just wow.
But just imagine if we win… FARK CARLTON.
Or we just debut new players Tonnie Boogood and Paddy Mrespakis.
My name’s not Tonnie, but I’ll try.
At least Marianna Anthony refused to play against us, again.
What a disgusting thing to do.
They might, if FCFC decide to actually publicise their very different team. Maybe celebrating the return of their captain from a four-week suspension last week is the bar to bother to publish an article?
(Di Donato just barely hangs onto the last space on the bench this week.)
It’s a grey wet misty day, and Fark Carlton are cheats.
ManaiaHuta appears to be the emergency.
It’s not the best time to be re-marking lines…
Dani is always more heavily dressed in early warmup, and that includes the Fight MND beanie today.
